| Project title: Opening of a pharmaceutical enterprise "Pharmecohelp" in the village Belousha, the Stolin region Activity area: Public health and surveillance Implementation place: the village Belousha, the Stolin district Target group: thepregnant women, children, all the population of Belousha and the neighbouring contaminated villages. Project duration: initial stage, 1year Project aim : Contribution to health improvement of the population, living on the contaminated territories by popularizing healthy ways of life, by providing people with the necessary information about medicine-taking and by improving health of the pregnant women. There are only 3 drugstores in the Stolin district, which causes the necessity of going to the town in every case of emergency. Objectives : - Free vitamin complexes supply for pregnant women.
- Contribution to the improvement of the treatment quality in the affected region.
- Providing the availability of pharmaceutical services.
Project implementation/activities: - Equipment and building acquisition, employment problem solution.
- Presentation of the pharmaceutical enterprise.
- Beginning of work on providing pharmaceutical services availability.
Expected results: - Pregnant women will always have the possibility to get valuable vitamin complexes free, which to some extend will contribute to health improvement of the younger generation.
- Medicine-taking knowledge will improve.
- Young mothers will get opportunity to be provided with high-quality food for children in their local area.
